Ingredients
Scale:
2 cups of watermelon, cubed
1 cup of strawberries, halved
1 cup of blueberries
1 cup of grapes, halved
1 mango, diced
2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 medium pineapple, peeled, cored, and diced
2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons of freshly chopped mint leaves
½ cup of chopped nuts (almonds or pecans) - optional
½ cup of shredded coconut - optional
1 cup of plain or vanilla yogurt for a creamy dressing option - optional
Instructions
Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Cube the watermelon, halve the strawberries and grapes, dice the mango, and slice the kiwi. Ensure your pineapple is peeled, cored, and diced.
In a large mixing bowl, gently combine all the prepared fruits. Use a wooden spoon or a spatula to fold the fruits together.
In a small bowl, whisk together the honey or maple syrup, lime juice, and chopped mint leaves until well blended.
Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture and gently toss to ensure all the fruits are evenly coated with the dressing.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Once chilled, give the salad one final toss and serve it in a beautiful dish. Consider adding chopped nuts or coconut for an extra layer of texture and flavor.
