  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until dissolved. Mix in the sliced peaches and vanilla extract, cooking for about 3-5 minutes until the peaches soften slightly.
  3. Cook the peach mixture until it starts bubbling and the juices thicken, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
