Coconut Limeade is a delightful way to bring the essence of the tropics to your table. This refreshing summer drink combines the tangy brightness of lime juice with the subtle sweetness of coconut water, making it an ideal choice for those looking to enjoy a hydrating summer sip.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup fresh lime juice (about 8-10 limes)
2 cups coconut water
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar or 3/4 cup honey (adjust to taste)
2 cups ice cubes
Optional Garnishes: Lime slices, Mint leaves, Shredded coconut
Instructions
Begin by juicing the limes. Roll them on the countertop to make juicing easier, then cut them in half and squeeze the juice into a measuring cup. Ensure no seeds are included.
In a large pitcher, combine the lime juice, coconut water, and plain water. Stir until the liquids are well mixed.
Add the sugar or honey to the pitcher. Stir vigorously until the sweetener is completely dissolved.
Fill the pitcher with ice cubes, stirring gently to cool the mixture.
Taste your Coconut Limeade and adjust the sweetness or tartness to your liking by adding more sugar or lime juice as needed.
Garnish with lime slices, mint leaves, or a sprinkle of shredded coconut, and serve immediately in chilled glasses.
