  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken sausages and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove the sausages and set them aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the zucchini slices. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional minute until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally until the tomatoes soften and begin to release their juices.
  5. Return the sausages to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Stir in the lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, and chopped basil. Use the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce, if necessary.
